We are an english - malaysian husband and wife team trading in a wide range of oriental products. In 1985 we commenced trading at our local market selling a small selection of basic chinese cooking ingredients and a variety of oriental arts and crafts. At the time this was quite an unusual line and we found a mixture of voyeurs from the curious to the baffled. We decided after two years that there was sufficient demand to open a small shop. A small retail unit was leased not to far from our present location. Demand soon dictated a move to larger premises and so in 1991 we moved to our current premises.
We pride ourselves on our extensive range of essential cooking ingredients.These authentic foods and spices are sourced by ourselves from importers throughout the UK. Our comprehensive range originates from the majority of south east asian countries. We can offer a personal service by usually obtaining any item that we dont stock.We also supply wholesale and specialise in Thai products. Similarly our arts and crafts have been selected to provide an interesting oriental cross section of cultures and customs. Furniture can now be purchased by selecting from photographs and catalogues at extremely competitive prices. In general our pricing strategy is based on providing a fair price to all.
